Role Overview
SBC is seeking a Website Specialist – Manager to join its expanding marketing team. This newly created role will oversee and enhance the company’s portfolio of corporate and event websites, ensuring they are optimised for performance, SEO, engagement, and conversion. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments and play a vital role in strengthening SBC’s online presence as it continues to scale globally.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and update website content, create new pages using WordPress CMS
- Source and recommend third-party WordPress plugins to meet business needs
- Support digital marketing campaigns through the creation of landing pages and CRO tactics
- Collaborate with development and design teams, provide briefs, and oversee execution
- Review and optimise user journeys, site architecture, and content for engagement and usability
- Advise on and implement conversion strategies to optimise CTAs and ticket sales funnels
- Assess and improve technical elements affecting user experience (e.g., load times, navigation)
- Lead the development and maintenance of the CMS in partnership with internal teams
- Create compelling, structured content aligned with brand and marketing objectives
- Monitor trends in UX/UI and website best practices to inform future improvements
- Identify technical issues and coordinate with the dev team to resolve them effectively
Qualification / Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing websites for international B2B organisations
- Proficiency with WordPress CMS and web design principles
- Demonstrated understanding of UX, CRO, on-page SEO, and technical SEO fundamentals
- Experience in writing technical briefs and collaborating with development and design teams
- Ability to manage multiple website projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Familiarity with project tools like Asana or similar
- Background in digital marketing for events
