Are you an experienced cloud technology leader who values innovation? Aristocrat Labs, within the Chief Technology Organization, is looking for a Vice President, Cloud and Digital Platforms to push forward our public cloud and online game platform strategy. In this role, you will guide a distributed team that builds and supports our cloud and gaming platforms. You will coordinate all public cloud contract negotiations, establish a FinOps (Financial Operations) function, and craft the strategic plan for our cloud and online game platforms. The position requires a problem solver with deep expertise in cloud technologies, gaming platforms, and financial operations. What You’ll Do
- Take charge of the comprehensive strategy for Aristocrat's scalable cloud and digital game platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological progress.
- Coordinate an international team of leaders, architects, engineers, developers, and support to drive innovation and excellence.
- Mentor and develop senior team leaders, ensuring their professional growth and success.
- Negotiate contracts with public cloud providers to secure favorable terms for multiple business units.
- Balance risk in assessment of multiple cloud service providers to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
- Accountable for instilling a FinOps culture across business units to optimize cloud spending.
- Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to Aristocrat's cloud strategy.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in cloud platform development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing international teams and large‑scale projects.
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and gaming platforms.
- Experience in negotiating large‑scale public cloud contracts.
- Expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Can work on a hybrid work basis with 3 days a week in our central London office.
