Role Overview
The Senior Retail Marketing Manager will drive impactful, fan-first retail experiences across Fanatics-operated stores primarily in London, Paris and New York. This role oversees store traffic generation, retail promotional execution, and conversion-focused fan engagement, ensuring Fanatics delivers exceptional moments for fans every day. Reporting to the VP Marketing, you’ll partner closely with brand marketing, Fanatics Studio, agencies and Retail Operations to deliver engaging brand experiences and impactful point of sale at some of the world’s most renowned sports retail destinations. The ideal candidate combines retail commercial acumen with creative activation leadership and has experience orchestrating multi-market product launches across global sports brands and teams.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead planning and execution of in-store activations, events, and retail marketing to increase traffic, dwell time and conversion.
- Manage cross-club launches and product stories across our portfolio of physical retail stores.
- Partner with global brand, merchandising, and e-commerce teams to ensure alignment across channels.
- Track and analyse activation ROI, fan sentiment, and retail KPIs - using insights to optimise future plans.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external teams including clubs, leagues, and supplier partners.
- Ensure brand standards are consistently delivered across all experiential touch-points.
- Support seasonal calendars, campaign rollouts, and match day activations.
- Support driving a fan-obsessed culture within the retail teams - every moment matters.
What You Bring To The Team
- 7+ years experience in retail activation, brand marketing, or experiential merchandising.
- Proven success in multi-country or multi-club retail environments. Experience in London and Paris is particularly valuable.
- Experience in sport or fashion driven retailers strongly preferred.
- Strong budget, partner and stakeholder management with proven ability to manage six-figure projects.
- Commercial mindset with analytical confidence to measure success and influence decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, highly collaborative environment.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of fan behaviours and culture.
- French language skills will be highly advantageous.
