We are seeking a Sr. Data Analytics Manager to join our Casino organization leading a team of analysts responsible for ongoing performance tracking, reporting, and ad-hoc queries from stakeholders. This Senior Manager will partner closely with leadership from across the Casino Business to identify useful insights, drivers of growth, and opportunities to improve the player experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in finance, performance, marketing, engineering, legal & compliance, operations, commercial, and external regulatory authorities.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and technical expertise within the Casino Analytics team, being ready to delve into other areas of business analytics as needed β especially in the early days of our team's growth.
- Be a hands-on analyst, creating insights both regular and ad hoc.
- Gather and present insights metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence and advisory over time.
- Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming world.
What Skills Are Important To Us
- 5+ years proven experience in an analytics role.
- Experience managing a team of analysts.
- Degree in a relevant field, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong SQL proficiency.
- Strong proficiency in a statistical programming language, e.g. R or Python.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, e.g. Tableau or Sigma.
- Experience in data analysis or mathematical model development, with a strong understanding of statistics concepts such as multivariate testing.
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritising relationships.
- Strong executive presentation and communication skills.
- Highly outcome oriented and data driven.
- Excellent influencing and problem resolution skills.
- Previous experience in the betting and gaming industry is a significant plus.
