This is a hybrid role, with a mandatory requirement to work from the office three days per week.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Support the Test Automation Manager in defining strategic roadmaps for automation projects aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize test tooling, including AI-assisted solutions, to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with QA teams, QA leadership, and Development teams to streamline testing procedures and align automation testing strategies with development processes.
- Mentor a team of test automation engineers, driving technical direction for test automation across mobile, web, API, and microservices platforms.
- Ensure automation guidelines are followed, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation architecture, tooling adoption, and coding standards.
- Perform code and build reviews, encourage knowledge sharing, and technical upskilling.
- Produce documentation and diagrams to communicate automation strategies effectively.
- Manage automation infrastructure, including on-premises labs, cloud platforms, and third-party tools.
- Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives through workshops, presentations, and demos.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability in crafting, assembling, and integrating test automation frameworks through popular tools (e. g., Selenium, Appium, Test Rail, API automation solutions).
- Experience leading complex, multi-team testing initiatives in fast-paced agile environments.
- Solid experience integrating automation within cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (e. g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops).
- Familiarity with database or microservices testing.
- Experience with new technologies, such as AI/ML within projects.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, Java Script, C#, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership capacity, with the capability to guide and enhance the skills of team members.
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in a technical area or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- Willingness to travel if needed to offshore teams (approximately 5 days per year).
- Preferred Skills And Experience
- ISTQB/ISEB Advanced level certification.
- Familiarity with Lang Smith, Deep Eval, Ragas, Promptfoo, or similar tools.
- Experience with Agentic workflows, RAG applications, or AI evaluation pipelines.
- Cloud certification (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Track record of successful automation initiatives.
- Understanding of how to develop software structured around core business concepts.
- Experience with contract testing.
- Experience in game development and mobile gaming industry, preferably Unity mobile applications.
- Knowledge of security testing guidelines in cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (New Relic, Prometheus, ELK stack) and advanced reporting.
