As an Accountant with a focus on gross profit, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. You will manage financial records, assist with the preparation of financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will report to the Director of Accounting as part of a broader Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial information.
  • Prepare month-end journals for multiple entities with supporting documentation.
  • Ensure appropriate allocation methodology for gross profit attribution across multiple segments, markets and business verticals.
  • Operate in a rigorous internal controls environment and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and analyses.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participate in cross-training and perform ad-hoc financial analyses, reporting and other related functions.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management to support strong financial close and audit readiness.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Working toward or holding CPA designation or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
