We are working with a well-established accountancy firm in Reading that is looking to expand their dynamic team. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to join a growing team within a fast-paced, high-impact environment, where you will work on a diverse range of mid-market transactions.
As part of the Transaction Services team, you will play a key role in providing in-depth financial and vendor due diligence services. This role offers exposure to both buy-side and sell-side transactions, enabling you to deliver high-quality, actionable insights to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and executing financial due diligence and vendor due diligence for mid-market transactions, managing the process from initial scoping to final deliverables.
- Collaborating with clients to understand strategic needs, providing insights to inform critical business decisions.
- Managing teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of projects while mentoring and coaching junior staff.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.
- Contributing to business development efforts, including proposal generation and identifying opportunities to drive future growth.
- Proven experience in Transaction Services (TS), with a strong track record in financial and vendor due diligence.
- Experience in the mid-market space or with mid-market clients is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience at the Assistant Manager or Manager level, with the ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
