- Delivery of Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) for lenders and stakeholders
- Advising stressed and distressed businesses on financial, operational, and liquidity challenges
- Supporting Accelerated M&A (AMA) and other transaction-led restructuring processes
- Working across both lender-side and company-side advisory assignments
- Building sector expertise within a defined industry focus
- Developing strong stakeholder management and financial analysis skills across complex situations
Why This Opportunity?
- Predominantly advisory-focused role with minimal formal insolvency work (no liquidations, administrations, or appointment-taking responsibilities)
- Close working relationship with the Partner leading the team
- Strong exposure to both restructuring and transaction-style advisory work
- Opportunity to develop a clear sector specialism
- Excellent platform for progression within a growing upper mid-market practice
- Competitive salary of up to £65,000 plus bonus
- Flexibility to support Transaction Services projects during quieter restructuring periods, broadening overall deal exposure
Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in restructuring, turnaround, corporate recovery, or transaction advisory, who is looking to move into a more advisory-led role with strong Partner exposure and sector focus.
