An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing national Corporate Advisory practice as an ERA Specialist, supporting a wide range of insolvency engagements across the UK. This role offers a unique chance to either specialise in employee claims work within insolvency or further develop an existing specialism within a well-supported and expanding team.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in delivering employee-related insolvency services, working closely with stakeholders, insolvency practitioners, and employees to ensure claims are handled accurately and efficiently. For those currently in broader corporate insolvency roles, this is an excellent opportunity to move into a focused specialism under the Employment Rights Act 1996, gaining deep expertise in a high-demand area. Equally, for experienced ERA professionals, the firm offers a platform to scale your impact, with strong internal support, investment, and clear progression pathways up to Director level.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing employee claims processes across insolvency cases
- Completing and reviewing RP14 and RP15 submissions
- Calculating statutory entitlements including redundancy, notice, holiday pay, and arrears
- Liaising with the Redundancy Payments Service
- Attending site to support redundancy consultations where required
- Acting as a key point of contact for employees and stakeholders
- Supporting and advising internal insolvency teams on ERA-related matters
- Managing your own workload and diary effectively
About You
We are open to a range of backgrounds and experience levels. You may be:
- Currently working in corporate insolvency and looking to specialise in ERA / employee claims, or
- An experienced ERA / employee claims professional seeking a larger platform and progression opportunities
You will ideally have:
- Experience with employee claims in insolvency (including RP14/RP15)
- Strong understanding of employee entitlements under insolvency scenarios
- Confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload
