We are currently working with a leading investment bank that is seeking Analysts to join their high-performing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory in the energy sector.

As an Analyst, you will play a key role in executing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and supporting senior bankers in delivering high-quality advisory services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises, and other corporate finance engagements.
  • Performing in-depth financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence.
  • Preparing client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
  • Conducting industry and company research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Supporting senior team members in managing client relationships and deal execution.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in M&A, capital raising, financial advisory, or transaction services preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
  • ACA qualified preferred.
  • A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can come from an M&A team within a big 4 accounting firm, mid market boutique, or investment bank.
