We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented
Insolvency Administrator to join our national restructuring advisory team.
This role is ideal for someone with existing experience in insolvency who is looking to deepen their technical expertise and contribute to complex, high‑value cases.
You will support senior team members in managing a varied caseload across administrations, voluntary liquidations (MVL/CVL), compulsory liquidations, and CVAs.
The position involves hands‑on case progression, stakeholder coordination, statutory reporting, and asset recovery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day‑to‑day administration of insolvency cases, ensuring all tasks are completed within statutory deadlines and internal protocols.
- Support the drafting of Administration Proposals, progress reports, and closure documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case diaries, checklists, and workflow systems.
- Undertake client onboarding tasks, including AML/KYC checks and drafting engagement letters.
- Take ownership of delegated tasks, ensuring timely and professional completion.
- Contribute to asset recovery strategies and liaise with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each case.
- Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and new case law to enhance technical knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year of experience in an insolvency or restructuring role.
- Desire to pursue relevant insolvency qualifications (e. g., CPI/ACA/ACCA/JIEB) is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insolvency case management systems; knowledge of
IPS or IPS Cloud is expected.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
