We’re working with a forward-thinking national advisory business that is looking to appoint a Head of M&A London to take ownership of their established but high-potential M&A offering. With a strong platform, ambitious leadership, and significant investment in growth, this is a rare opportunity to play a central role in building something great.

The Role:

As Head of M&A, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the current M&A team in London
  • Driving origination strategy and building a strong pipeline of lower mid-market transactions (typically £10m–£100m EV)
  • Executing deals across a variety of sectors, leveraging an impressive client base and national footprint
  • Mentoring and developing junior talent and shaping the future structure of the team
  • Acting as a key member of the senior leadership group, influencing firmwide strategy and growth initiatives

About You:

  • Proven track record in originating and leading mid-market M&A transactions (lead advisory)
  • Strong network across the London dealmaking community
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Accounting firm or lower-mid market boutique background is the preference
