We are working with a leading global advisory firm that specialises in complex financial and restructuring situations. They are looking to hire an Assistant Manager to join their growing contentious insolvency team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile cases involving financial investigations, disputes, and insolvency-related matters within a collaborative and technically strong environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a portfolio of contentious insolvency and investigation cases
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify potential claims and recovery opportunities
  • Assist with investigations into antecedent transactions, director conduct, and asset tracing
  • Support claims relating to misfeasance, breach of duty, and other insolvency-related matters
  • Prepare high-quality reports, correspondence, and supporting documentation
  • Liaise with legal advisors, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals and client engagement

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline
  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or working towards) preferred
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in contentious insolvency, restructuring, or related financial investigations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and report-writing ability
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
