The team advises corporates, lenders, investors and other stakeholders on complex stressed and distressed situations, delivering high-profile financial restructuring engagements across a broad range of industries both in the UK and internationally.
As a Senior Associate, you will support the delivery of complex financial restructuring assignments, working closely with senior colleagues and clients to provide commercially focused solutions. Typical assignments include:
- Short-term liquidity and cash flow management.
- Independent Business Reviews (IBRs).
- Business plan analysis and financial modelling.
- Strategic options analysis.
- Stakeholder management and contingency planning.
- Distressed M&A support, including buy-side and sell-side processes.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the execution of financial restructuring projects across a range of sectors.
- Undertaking financial analysis, cash flow forecasting and business plan reviews.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations and client deliverables.
- Liaising with management teams, lenders, investors and other key stakeholders.
- Supporting business development initiatives, including pitch documents and marketing materials.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional advisers.
- Ensuring assignments are delivered to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
The successful candidate will have:
- Around 3-4 years' experience within financial restructuring, restructuring advisory, investment banking, credit analysis, insolvency or a similar advisory environment.
- Experience supporting financial restructuring mandates on either the company or creditor side.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent), either qualified or working towards.
- A commercial mindset with an interest in complex restructuring situations.
