Gambit Search is partnering with a fast-growing professional services firm to recruit an Advisory Manager to join their specialist advisory team in the Manchester office. The team supports businesses in financial distress helping them get through their various issues, including matters related to HMRC.
In this role, you'll work closely with various stakeholders, including directors, lenders, and OMBs, providing general advisory solutions. The responsibilities will include:
- Produce independent business reviews and advisory reports
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, profit & loss statements, and financial analysis
- Support HMRC negotiations and time to pay ("TTP") plan proposals
- Liaise regularly with clients and relevant stakeholders along the case through to completion
This role is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team which has considerable work via the leaders and further prospects of investments from the business owners as they scale. You'll join an international practice which has grown considerably across service lines in the past 5 years. Despite this, the firm relentlessly promotes a collegiate culture and progression prospects for all staff.
To be considered for this role, you need to have come from an insolvency, advisory, or accounting background. If you have an understanding of firms within a distressed state and an accounting/audit background, your experience will suit this opportunity. You will sit around AM/Manager grade.
