An established national advisory firm is seeking an experienced Manager to join its Restructuring team. This is an opportunity to take a lead role in delivering complex restructuring, turnaround and formal insolvency assignments within a highly regarded and growing practice.
The Role
You will manage a varied portfolio of corporate restructuring and insolvency engagements across multiple sectors. The position involves leading high-impact assignments, advising stressed and distressed businesses, and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic and practical solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of restructuring and insolvency cases
- Leading trading and pre-pack administrations, liquidations and CVAs
- Delivering turnaround, recovery and financial restructuring solutions
- Conducting financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting and scenario planning
- Supporting distressed M&A and transaction processes
- Liaising with lenders, investors, legal advisers and other stakeholders
- Supervising and developing junior team members
- Contributing to business development and proposal work
- Ensuring compliance with insolvency legislation and professional standards
The Candidate:
- CPI/CII qualified (JIEB desirable or in progress)
- Strong experience in corporate restructuring and insolvency
- Solid technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation
- Commercially aware with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing multiple assignments and mentoring junior staff
- ACA/ACCA advantageous but not essential
