We have recently partnered with a leading multi-office specialist insolvency firm, with a strong reputation across multiple UK offices. The firm is looking to grow its insolvency capability and maintain the highest standards of compliance and client service, to support its continued growth.
The firm is seeking an Insolvency Manager to join the Leeds office on a hybrid working basis. This is a hands-on insolvency-focused role with responsibility for delivering mandates locally while also contributing to compliance oversight across multiple Northwest offices. The successful candidate will manage cases, mentor junior staff, undertake compliance spot checks, and help contribute to the firm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities- Mandate Delivery - Leeds Office
- Lead and manage insolvency assignments, including administrations and liquidations.
- Deliver high-quality client service on complex insolvency matters.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, legal advisors, and regulators.
- Compliance & Oversight - Northwest Offices
- Conduct spot checks of work prepared by more junior staff to ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory obligations.
- Monitor adherence to internal processes and risk management standards across multiple offices.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.
- Advise senior management on compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent insolvency qualification; professional insolvency certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in insolvency, with exposure to complex corporate or personal cases.
- Demonstrable experience managing insolvency cases and supervising junior staff.
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory and compliance requirements within insolvency practice.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel across multiple Northwest offices as required.
