A well-established professional services firm based in Central London is seeking an Administrator or Senior Administrator to join its Insolvency Closures Team, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured, detail-focused environment and seeing cases through the latter stages of their process to completion.
The Role
- You will be part of a dedicated closures team within a busy insolvency department, responsible for the efficient wind-down of insolvency cases once the active casework has concluded.
- The role is key to ensuring statutory, regulatory and internal requirements are met before final closure.
- Managing the final stages of insolvency cases (including CVLs, MVLs, administrations and bankruptcies where applicable).
- Preparing and issuing final statutory paperwork and closure reports.
- Making up accounts to zero balance and completing final reconciliations.
- Liaising with internal case managers, external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Completing final accounts, checklists and compliance documentation.
- Ensuring cases are closed accurately, on time and in line with regulatory standards.
- Supporting process improvements within the closures function.
At Senior Administrator level, the role may also involve:
- Reviewing work prepared by others.
- Acting as a point of reference for more complex closures.
- Assisting with training or mentoring junior team members.
About You
- Previous experience in insolvency administration is required (closures experience highly advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Comfortable working to deadlines and managing a varied caseload.
- Confident communicator with a professional approach.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
Working Pattern
- 4 or 5 days per week, with flexibility to come into the office a few times a week and work from home on other days.
