Project Manager (NPD Feasibility & Innovation)
Are you driven to lead feasibility and spark innovation? Reporting into the Senior Product Delivery Manager and part of a small cohesive team, your role is instrumental in NPD product feasibility (technical, clinical, regulatory) relating to new product innovation and product change management. The role is based out GAMA, Fellows Research Centre, Halifax (HX4 8LR). This role is full-time, permanent and offers hybrid working (3 office, 2 home).
What will you do?
- Deliver new products or product changes from concept to market launch
- Be a key lead on NPD technical feasibility / clinical usability studies to support early product innovation
- Manage stakeholders across all functional teams, external suppliers, and senior leadership
- Solve problems yourself or with the wider team
- Escalate issues appropriately
- Maintain project plans and documents
- Deliver status updates on agreed projects to cover time, cost, spec, and budget
- Work to stage gate processes and quality standards

What will you need?
- A degree in a technical discipline – science, mechanical or electrical engineering
- Proven new product / change management / project management experience (delivery of time/cost/spec/resources/risks)
- Ability to define and implement feasibility studies to support product innovation e.g., clinical, technical, regulatory
- Experience of working in a "product" related industry: infection prevention, medical devices, biocidal product or rigorous FMCG environment
- Experience of managing multiple projects concurrently and managing changing specifications
- The ability to work throughout the product development lifecycle communication of status, actions, and risks to all levels of a project team up to the Executive level and external stakeholders where required
- A Project management qualification or extensive practical experience
- Reporting on the status of a portfolio of projects
