Working Hours: 6/4/4 shift pattern on a rostered basis.
About the role: Gama Aviation is a reputable business aviation company engaged in both fixed wing and rotary operations. The B2 Licensed Engineer will join the Rotary Line Maintenance team to maintain the AW169 helicopter and maximise availability across the rotary HEMS fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Completion and certification of Electrical and Avionic systems tasks as defined in the MOE, on Company aircraft either carried out directly or by non-certifying Engineers.
- Ensure work is accomplished in accordance with approved data and Company policies and procedures.
- Complete all paperwork and documentation.
- Issue approved materials to the work via the Company’s computer system (Corridor).
- Use approved tools and ground support equipment; maintain safe working practices.
- Maintain a safe and appropriate working environment; manage risks to personnel, property and reputation.
- Ensure tooling is accounted for prior to return to service.
- Complete all post-maintenance actions and Maintenance Status Reports.
- Report defects to the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department; report Health and Safety or Flight Safety issues via iQSMS.
- Perform engineering duties as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- An EASA or UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
- Strong maintenance-related technical knowledge of electrical and avionics systems.
- Good working knowledge of regulations and requirements related to aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors.
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership of tasks.
- Clear, unambiguous communication.
- Familiarity with OEM relevant to helicopter type.
- Ability to work alone and willingness to travel; role covers multiple sites to ensure coverage across rotary line stations and minimise downtime during AOG.
