Gama Aviation is currently recruiting for B1.3 Licensed Engineers based at our Glasgow site. As part of this role, you must be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team and as an integral part of the Gama Aviation Engineering Group, possessing strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
To be considered for this position you will hold a UK CAA B1.3 Licence, preferably with the following type rating: Type Rating H145 – Potential type rate training.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful completion of all allocated, planned and ad‑hoc maintenance tasks.
- Ensure correct compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the required engineering licence and applicable type rating as required to perform duties and be responsible for ensuring licences and type ratings do not lapse and are kept up to date.
- Accountable for providing professional communication with customers and contacts as required.
- Individual responsibility for booking accurate, and consistent timekeeping in applicable software system.
- Completion of work in a safe and appropriate manner considering risk to personnel, property and reputation.
- Reporting defects to the Maintenance Manager or Central Planning Department.
- Reporting issues regarding matters of Health and Safety or Flight Safety, via the Company’s reporting system.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
- A UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence category B1.3 Type rated on the H145.
- The ability to work alone and the willingness to travel. This role is shift based primarily at our Glasgow HQ but may require the occasional travel.
- A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health.
