Working Hours: Shift OR Mon – Fri

Gama Aviation is a very reputable Business Aviation company, working on both fixed wing and rotary aircraft. We are continuing to grow and expand, with exciting contracts being secured; we have recently been selected to be an Authorized Service Centre by Embraer, who set an understandably high bar to become part of their global network.

In light of this fantastic news, we seeking talented B1 and B2 Licensed Engineers to join our Engineering Team at our Luton Airport site. This role will perform and certify Line and AOG maintenance activities in a timely and efficient manner while providing the highest level of customer service.

Working within a small team to manage multiple aircraft inputs over a single shift, you must be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team and as an integral part of the Gama Engineering Group, possessing strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills. To be considered for this position you will hold a UK CAA/EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence, preferably with one of the following type ratings:

  • Cessna Citation 560XLS
  • Cessna Citation 680/680A
  • Bombardier Global / Global Express BD-700 series

Preferred candidates will already hold one of the listed type ratings, however applicants with other similar type ratings will be considered as training and type courses may be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful completion of all allocated, planned and ad‑hoc maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the completion of scheduled customer order requirements when acting as supervising, certifying engineer for a given input
  • Responsible for the management of and performance/quality of performed works in compliance with applicable company process and procedures
  • Ensure correct compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Maintain the required engineering licence and applicable type rating as required to perform duties and be responsible for ensuring licences and type ratings do not lapse and are kept up to date
  • Accountable for providing professional communication with customers and contacts as required
  • Individual responsibility for booking accurate, and consistent timekeeping in applicable software system

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

  • A UK CAA Part 66 Licence Category B1 or B2
  • Previous aircraft line and AOG maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in servicing, inspection repair and modifications
  • Satisfactory recency as required for issue of applicable certifying approval
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Hold a type rating from the above list
