FlyerTech has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional with technical CAMO sales experience to represent our leading aviation organisation. You’ll be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving new business, and working closely with technical teams to create tailored solutions for each customer’s needs. Responsibilities:
- Generate New Business: Proactively prospect for new business opportunities within the aviation sector, particularly with Lessors, Airlines, and Operators, and build a strong sales pipeline for Part-M CAMO, technical and Maintenance Control Center (MCC) services.
- Understand Customer Needs: Listen to customer challenges and requirements, working closely with internal teams to create customised solutions, quotes, and contracts. Each customer is unique, and you must be adaptable and willing to work hard to meet their needs.
- Technical Knowledge: While supported by the Head of Part-M, Head of Maintenance Management, and other technical experts, you must have the technical know-how to engage in discussions with customers, particularly in airworthiness services.
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, including Lessors, Airlines, and other aviation stakeholders. You will be expected to manage both internal and external relationships effectively, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Sales Pipeline & Reporting: Work on building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. Use CRM tools (HubSpot) to manage sales activities, update customer information, and ensure accurate reporting. Responsible for delivering sales reports related to Part-M and Maintenance Management & Advisory Services (MM&AS).
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with the Marketing team, Head of Aviation Projects, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Attend Events: Represent the company at industry events, both domestically and internationally, to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and further your sales efforts.
- Contract Negotiation: Work closely with senior resources to assist in contract negotiations and ensure that all contracts meet the necessary commercial and legal standards.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
- Proven experience in selling CAMO and airworthiness services. Strong understanding of the Commercial Aviation and Aircraft Leasing markets is essential. Experience in the Business Aviation sector is a plus.
- Must have technical sales experience in CAMO and be able to engage in technical discussions with clients.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently, drive results, and meet sales targets.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally, and manage upwards effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen to customer needs and work collaboratively to provide solutions.
- Ability to prospect, generate leads, and build a robust sales pipeline while working towards closing deals.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, and a focus on keeping systems up-to-date with accurate sales data.
