We are looking for an Aircraft Customer Delivery Manager to play a key part in ensuring our customers’ aircraft are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the main point of contact for the customer throughout the entire maintenance process; from early planning right through to release and post visit follow-up.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering teams, customer service, and CAMO colleagues to coordinate each aircraft input, making sure everything runs smoothly. You will plan and purchase materials, manage approvals, track costs, and keep everyone informed with clear, accurate updates.

The role requires strong project coordination, customer focus, and the ability to maintain oversight of daily progress to support both internal stakeholders and the customer. Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the customer and the interface between our engineering and support teams and the customer’s representative.
  • Arranging and leading pre-input planning, coordination of building of work pack, parts & material preordering, arranging services and tooling and ensuring sufficient & timely resources to be present, while working with the resourcing team, for successful completion of check.
  • Utilise Service Edge for all approvals related to parts, services and labour estimates.
  • Control of emergent/unplanned works, ensuring these are well communicated to stakeholders, solution arranged and associated cost elements approved, tracked and billed correctly through Service Edge.
  • Provide briefings for engineering team & management on a regular basis and participate in scheduled as well as unscheduled meetings. This will include total understanding of the projects daily status to allow updates to customer and management.
  • Participate in the quality audit programme and ensuring audit closure actions are developed and implemented.
  • Managing budgets including working within approved financial budgets, taking appropriate action when variances arise.
  • Ensure all 3rd party cores are observed and returned to retailers as mandated by time scale.
  • Support project reporting and governance against performance KPIs.
  • Investigate and support any supplier quality issues including paperwork errors.
  • Manage alternative’s part number within Corridor.
  • In the absence of appropriate stores coverage, provide goods receipt support.
  • Reporting of all SMS/Quality issues.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Previous experience of production planning in an aircraft engineering environment.
  • Working knowledge of Part 145/Part M regulations.
  • Project management/coordination experience with the ability to create project plans to manage large work volumes.
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office mainly).
  • Customer oriented.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Well organised and responsible.
  • Able to work under pressure and handle stressful periods well.
  • Driving licence.

Advantageous:

  • Recognised technical qualification in engineering or planning discipline i.e. CIPS Qualification.
  • Experience of aircraft parts purchasing, including the ordering of parts/material and vendor liaison.
  • Experience of leading teams and leading project update meetings.
  • Understanding of Aircraft Programmes for the supply of Parts.
  • Competent in the use of MRO planning software such as Corridor, TRAXALL, CAMP.
