Gama Aviation is actively recruiting for an Aircraft Customer Delivery Manager to support our rotary operation in Staverton, Gloucester. The role delivers full life‑cycle planning and check management for all rotary base maintenance aircraft, ensuring on‑time, quality and budgeted delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Customer service and client contact – serve as point of contact for the customer and interface between engineering, support teams and the customer’s representative.
  • Develop and manage a base maintenance floor loading plan for all rotary sites, reviewing proposed and ongoing inputs to maintain a viable slot plan essential for long‑term planning and sales.
  • Review detailed work scope following CAMO/customer maintenance input requests and engage with engineering to confirm scheduled inspection hours and parts required for quote generation.
  • Implement a database for timing related to task completion, using engagement with engineering and historical completion data.
  • Arrange and lead pre‑input planning; collate results to enable MSP coordinator to build all associated aircraft input work packs.
  • Ensure on‑time availability of job cards, drawings and manuals; review that all required elements are supplied with task cards to maximise efficiency.
  • In conjunction with MSP coordinator, handle parts & material pre‑ordering, arrange services and tooling, and ensure sufficient, timely resources.
  • Highlight deficiencies to senior management and implement corrective actions.
  • Daily review and update of resource plan to deploy manpower for achievement of quoted CRS dates; work with centralised resource team to maintain accurate database and stable teams for each input.
  • Control emergent/unplanned work; ensure communication to stakeholders, arrangement of solutions and approval, tracking and billing through Service Edge.
  • Control technical enquiries with respective OEMs; update databases and expedite resolution through engineering teams and OEM support network.
  • Conduct daily Base Maintenance Boardwalk to engage with engineering leads, monitor task accomplishment, and identify constraints to prevent over‑runs.
  • Chair weekly Base Maintenance Meeting to review current inputs, check progression, review planned vs booked hours, update on OEM technical enquiries, review spares shortage lists and discuss key constraints and actions.
  • Generate and distribute weekly progress reports for each aircraft to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the documentation programme to maintain compliance with regulatory and company protocols; review work packages to ensure data entry accuracy and ensure completed checks are relayed to CAMO and retained in line with MRO procedures.
  • Report all SMS/Quality issues.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as directed by the line manager.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required

Essential

  • Previous experience of production planning & purchasing in an engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of Part 145/Part M regulations.
  • Experience with project management, coordination and planning.
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Proficiency in Service Edge.
  • Customer orientated and excellent communicator.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful periods.

Advantageous

  • Recognised technical qualification in engineering or planning discipline.
  • Deep understanding of Part 145/Part CAMO(M) regulations.
  • Ordering of parts/material and vendor liaison experience.
  • Team leading activity, project update meetings.
  • Understanding of aircraft programmes for part supply.
  • Competence in MRO planning software such as Corridor, TRAXALL, CAMP, etc.
