An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic General Manager to be a key part of our dedicated team, working in a professional, hospitable and friendly environment, with training and development opportunities and great benefits. General Manager Responsibilities: Liaise with Operations Manager and Owners/Directors to make decisions for operational activities setting and achieving strategic goals; Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth delivery of our high standards and profitability; Effectively supervise teams from different departments and provide constructive feedback; Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements; Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation; Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction; Develop annual budgets and targets; Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability. Literate in monthly P&L reports; Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation; Manage relationships/agreements with third party companies; Effective management of building maintenance, upkeep and servicing; Evaluate overall performance of the business by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics; Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations. The Successful Deputy General Manager will: Have previous experience as a General Manager or similar in busy, fine dining restaurants. Have excellent organizational and leadership abilities; Have the ability to deliver high standards consistently; Have outstanding communication and people skills; Have the ability to closely work with the management team; Have in depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. Finance, Customer service, HR, Marketing etc.); Have working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics; Have familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. Fourth Hospitality, F&B, Quadranet) Have knowledge of industrys legal rules and guidelines; Be pro-active, passionate and enthusiastic about their job; Be a great team player; Lead by example.
