As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager.
The Role
As a Contracts Manager at Galostar Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing multiple brickwork contracts from inception to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple brickwork projects.
- Act as the main point of contact between the client, site teams, and company directors.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontractor and client contracts.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, programme adherence, and financial performance.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings.
- Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractor resources across sites.
- Provide leadership and support to site managers, foremen, and operational teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of masonry works, building regulations, and health & safety practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commercial acumen and experience working with budgets and contract terms.
