Galloways Bakers in Wigan - Bakers with traditional qualities. We have 23 shops and are expanding. We are seeking dedicated and reliable Shop Assistants to join our shop sales teams. As a shop assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations in our busy shops. Anyone applying for this position must have a full driving license and access to their own vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Stock shelves/manage displays and ensure all goods are properly displayed
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person - Various Shop Locations including St Helens and Ashton
Job Type: Full-time • Monday to Saturday 5/7 • Weekend availability • Sunday cover if and when required
Expected hours: Min 30 hours per week
