Galloways Bakers in Wigan, Bakers with traditional qualities. We have 23 shops and are expanding. The working week is 5 out of 7 days per week, with every Saturday usually off and Sundays on a rota basis.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about baking and confectionery and will become a crucial member of our evening production team. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and bake a variety of cakes and confections according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene practices are strictly followed.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and left clean and hygienic at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in food preparation and baking, particularly in a bakery or restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on cake making and confectionery.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
- Familiarity with food production processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced Bakery environment during evening shifts.
Progression is available to the right person. Excellent remuneration package for the right applicants, including a 20% staff discount in all stores and 28 days holiday pro rata.
Work shift: 15:00 to 00:00 but must be flexible.

Pay: £14.30 per hour
