You will be responsible for driving volume, distribution and profit through effective account planning and joint business plans for assigned regional customers (typically Independent Wholesalers and on-trade accounts). Please note this role will require full UK right to work as this role is not sponsored.
Role Functions:- Supporting the Director, Account Management-UK, developing and achieving goals within the following key KPI’s: volume, revenue, gross margin, account contribution, promotional budgets and distribution.
- Sells "Best Practices" concepts, philosophies and innovations to the customer.
- Builds, presents, and approves a joint business plan with assigned customers, concentrating on volume & key financial metrics with the customer whilst achieving internal and external business objectives.
- Provides counsel on issues; creates customized business solutions and recommendations.
- Accountable for accurate forecasting of product that will ultimately drive production.
- Works closely with the supply chain business unit to ensure we exceed our customer’s in-store availability expectations whilst improving our cost to serve.
- Responsible for Accounts Receivable ensuring credit terms are adhered to and challenged to improve terms to the betterment of the company.
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of category management or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or country-issued equivalent plus 6 years of category management or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Must have full UK right to work.
- Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Required to have valid UK driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Required to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Experience working with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience working for a Multi-National Corporation.
