What will you do as Warehouse Employee at Gallagher Europe?

As a Warehouse Employee in our Coventry warehouse, you’ll be part of a small but close-knit team. Together, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse process, receiving, sorting, storing, and preparing goods for delivery. In addition, you will play a key role in managing repair and warranty requests for the UK market. This includes assessing returned products, carrying out basic diagnostics, processing warranty claims, and ensuring repairs are handled accurately and efficiently. Working collaboratively, you’ll help ensure our warehouse runs smoothly while delivering top-quality service to our customers.

As a Warehouse Employee, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Inbound Process: Unloading incoming goods, conducting quality checks, and reporting any deviations.

• Storage Management: Safely storing goods using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and replenishing pick locations as needed.

• Order Picking: Collecting and checking customer orders for accuracy before shipment.

• Outbound Process: Packaging goods, ensuring quality and accuracy, and preparing them for dispatch.

• Repairs and Warranties: Managing repair and warranty requests from customers, performing basic troubleshooting and product assessments, accurately documenting findings in our systems, processing warranty claims, and coordinating repairs and returns, including printed circuit boards.

• Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, processing returned goods as per guidelines.

• Experience in warehousing or a similar role.

• Familiarity with using warehouse systems and transport equipment (e.g., pump trucks or forklifts). Training can be provided!

• Computer literate and comfortable working with digital systems for stock management, repair administration, warranty processing, and reporting.

• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.

• A proactive attitude with strong team spirit and willingness to contribute to process improvements.

• And you recognise yourself in the following

  • You have knowledge of warehouse systems and processes.

  • You have an interest in technical products and enjoy diagnosing and resolving product issues.

  • Manual skills for handling goods, operating equipment, and repairing products.

  • Comfortable working with hand tools and test equipment.

  • Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting issues.
