Overview This role would suit an experienced LIA (Lenders Insurance Advisory) or similar professional with knowledge of various industry sectors and project financing. You will work within a specialist team managing a portfolio of projects both in the UK and abroad. The ability to work independently, along with strong verbal and written presentation skills, is essential. Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance arrangements in overseas territories would be advantageous. How you\’ll make an impact Collaborate closely within the Financiers Insurance Advisory Services (“FIAS”) team, based in London and Belfast. Contribute to the success of the FIAS team. Prepare proposals in response to RfPs, negotiate fees, and draft engagement letters. Undertake insurance due diligence consultancy assignments, including: Communicating with bankers, technical advisers, project sponsors, legal advisers, and borrower representatives. Researching technical insurance aspects for specific projects and liaising with technical specialists. Preparing insurance reports—both pre-FC and operational. Providing written and verbal advice to lenders on insurance issues related to their loans. Negotiating with project company’s brokers. Ensuring services meet FIAS standards and practices. Traveling within the UK and overseas as required. Preparing fee invoices. Maintaining industry knowledge to inform clients and provide effective risk management advice aligned with AJG principles. Complying with AJG Professional Standards Manual and relevant legal and governance requirements. About You Qualifications Cert CII / Dip CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) preferred. Degree-level education or equivalent. Experience Experience as a Lenders Insurance Adviser is preferred. Experience in sectors such as renewables, mining, power and energy, transportation/infrastructure, or M&A is beneficial. Skills and Other Attributes Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to interpret data accurately and present findings clearly. Innovative problem-solving approach. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Effective communication tailored to diverse audiences. Credibility with decision-makers. Persistent, results-driven, and self-motivated, inspiring others. Ability to build and manage relationships across networks. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant IT systems. Spanish or French language skills are advantageous but not required.
