About the Role We are excited to invite you to join us as a Sanctions Analyst in our London office! This newly created position is part of our global Centre of Excellence for Financial Crime and International Trade. Here’s your chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your Impact This is a hybrid role, where you’ll be in our London office 2-3 days a week. You will work closely with the Sanctions Manager and the Financial Crime Team to provide expert advice and support on sanctions compliance. Your contributions will help the business identify, assess, and manage risks while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Supporting the development and maintenance of a sanctions compliance framework. Researching and advising on sanctions-related issues, including legal and regulatory updates. Responding to complex queries and providing clear, practical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders. Assisting with financial crime projects and contributing to business-led initiatives. Acting as a point of escalation for sanctions screening alerts. Who You Are We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives under pressure. You should have: A degree or equivalent experience. A basic understanding of UK, EU, and US sanctions regulations or a strong background in the (re)insurance sector. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on client service. Experience in trade sanctions, particularly in Marine and Aviation. Eligibility to work in the UK.
