We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Reinsurance P&C Programmes team. As a Reinsurance Broker you will need to be able to maintain strong client and reinsurer relationships for a large portfolio of assigned accounts in order to ensure the appropriate level of service to all clients. You will also in time develop or help to develop new business with the help from the senior leadership team and your fellow senior brokers/producers.
How youâll make an impact
- Understand client needs to develop customized insurance programs to address their risks.
- Prepare and present client proposals, including risk assessments and insurance program recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and target potential clients in the energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the industry.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance providers to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
About You
- Qualified with at least five years of experience ideally from a reinsurance/programme background.
- Broking experience with reinsurance binders and or P&C knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to lead colleagues and influence clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
