Gallagher is seeking a dynamic HR Director to drive strategic and operational excellence across our divisions. This pivotal role is designed for a proactive leader who thrives on building strong business partnerships and delivering innovative HR solutions.
As the HR Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping our people strategy, ensuring the efficient operation of the Divisional HR function, and driving continuous improvement for both customers and colleagues. You will work closely with senior members of the business, US stakeholders, and third parties to deliver the UK strategic and annual business plans, all while adhering to company and regulatory requirements.

About You
- Qualifications: Chartered Fellow or MCIPD, degree level education desired.
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in insurance products is advantageous, employment law, and regulations experience is essential.
- Experience & Skills: People management experience, strategic partnering, and stakeholder engagement. Proven ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Results-oriented mindset with a drive for growth and high self-awareness. Excellent communication skills, with experience in a global, matrix-managed organization.
- Leadership: Leadership experience, focusing on coaching and developing colleagues. Ability to advise senior leadership with pragmatic solutions to business challenges. High commercial awareness, aligning business objectives to HR strategic goals.
- Client Focus: Exceptional client focus, managing contentious interactions with effective negotiation strategies. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.
