How you'll make an impact:

  • Investment Consulting provides a variety of high-quality services to clients through structured engagements.
  • These services include: strategic setting of investment objectives, strategic asset allocation, performance measurement and evaluation, investment monitoring and reporting, custodian selection, transition advice, statements of investment policy and global research services.
  • Primarily focused on supporting colleagues in providing investment consulting services for assigned client accounts or projects, typically preparing first draft of advice.
  • As an experienced team member, provide proactive and creative investment support to clients and manage daily interaction with clients and/or other related service providers in relation to business-as-usual matters.
  • Contribute as a member of the Manager Research team, manage and deliver practice/research area work and conduct investment and/or investment manager research, including alternatives research.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed, quality financial analysis under client-driven deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in specific areas; share knowledge effectively within the project team and externally with clients.
  • Influence project plans and assist in the preparation of client invoices.
  • Responsible for making recommendations or implementing solutions to enhance returns, better control risks and improve client satisfaction.
  • Work independently under limited supervision to achieve client and project targets with significant impact on function level results.
  • May train new team members.

About You:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree; 5 years related experience.
  • Able and willing to travel up to approximately 25% of the time, where required by role.
  • Desired: MBA or FIA/FFA/CFA certification/accreditation.
  • Work Traits: Collaborates and works effectively with colleagues; demonstrates strong financial acumen, business acumen, project management skills, communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Compensation and benefits:

  • Minimum of 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and the option to ‘buy’ extra days.
  • Defined contribution pension scheme, which Gallagher will also contribute to.
  • Life insurance, which will pay 4x your basic annual salary, which you can top-up to 10x.
  • Income protection, covering up to 50% of your annual income, with options to top up.
  • Health cash plan or private medical insurance.
