As a Project Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the execution and day-to-day oversight in driving the success of our projects and enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, you will lead, motivate, and develop your project team, making a meaningful impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are open to considering individuals based anywhere in the UK for this position.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Plan, budget, allocate resources, and manage projects and events to align with organisational objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the Team Leader.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and optimise processes.
  • Compile and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
  • Offer guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to pension regulations, including GMP/GMPE, minimum pension increases, and disclosure requirements.
  • Review and interpret Scheme Booklets, Trust Deeds, Rules, Benefit Specifications, and Actuarial instructions to determine appropriate actions.
  • Participate in Trustee and ad hoc client meetings as needed.
  • Support client account managers with documentation and other responsibilities.

About You:

  • Experienced Team Leader in pensions administration or a Project Analyst within the pensions sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in DB, DC, and Hybrid Pension Schemes.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in performance management, including conducting regular reviews.
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and handle competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Skilled in conducting audits, identifying risks, and driving process improvements.
  • Relevant qualifications such as PMI or Prince2 are highly advantageous.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

Compensation and benefits:

  • Minimum of 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and the option to ‘buy’ extra days.
