This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Scheme Events project delivery team within our Pension administration business. As our team continues to grow, we are excited to be recruiting for this Project Analyst position. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in Defined Benefit scheme administration who are keen to transition into a more project and data-focused role. Whether you are currently working as an Analyst, Technician or similar, or if you are a Pension Administrator or Senior looking for a fresh and challenging career path, this is your chance to take on an exciting new role within a thriving organisation.

To succeed in this position, you will need experience in administering Final Salary Pension schemes, with a strong understanding of scheme rules, regulations, and scheme events work. Excellent analytical skills, particularly in working with data, and proficiency in Excel are also important. You must also have the right to work in the UK.

How you'll make an impact

You will take the lead on pension projects and events, ensuring they are delivered smoothly and efficiently. From processing and verifying calculations to preparing comprehensive reports, your work will be central to our operations. You’ll keep stakeholders updated throughout the process and provide support to the Principal as required. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the success of our team and the service we provide to our clients.

About You

  • Experience working with occupational pension schemes, including Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), and Hybrid schemes.
  • A methodical approach to problem-solving, coupled with excellent numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., v-lookups, formulas, pivot tables) and Word (e.g., creating reports, performing mail merges).
  • The ability to communicate complex calculations in a clear and straightforward manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team or work independently.
  • Strong organisational abilities, enabling you to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
