Overview

Caytons, our esteemed in-house law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Professional Indemnity solicitor to join our team.

This role is pivotal in handling PI matters within the construction sector, working closely under the supervision of a Partner.

How you\’ll make an impact

  • Handle a diverse caseload of PI matters, including both pre-action and litigation phases, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to legal standards

  • Directly interact with Insurers, Insureds, Experts, and Counsel, encouraging positive relationships and clear communication

  • Manage reserves and financial aspects of each case, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to Insurers and Insureds

  • Prepare comprehensive reports for Insurers and Insureds, providing insights and updates on case progress and outcomes

  • Participate in secondments as agreed upon by the firm, contributing to broader organisational goals and gaining diverse experience

About You

  • A qualified solicitor with experience in handling professional indemnity matters as a panel solicitor

  • Demonstrated ability to engage professionally with clients, maintaining a high level of self-sufficiency and initiative

  • A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, committed to contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment

  • Eligible to work in the UK
