We are seeking a Team Leader to take charge of a dynamic, high-performing team of claims professionals. You’ll be the go-to expert for claims processes, guiding and supporting your colleagues while ensuring client expectations are consistently met. This role is about more than supervision—it’s about inspiring others, driving professional development, and setting the standard for excellence in claims management.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead and supervise your team to ensure Service Level Agreements are achieved.
  • Approve claims settlements within your financial authority.
  • Ensure staff are fully trained on Service Instructions and Policy Wordings.
  • Build strong client relationships, attending review meetings when required.
  • Deliver training and support team development in line with Gallagher Bassett’s Learning & Development Prospectus.
  • Complete appraisals on time and respond promptly to complaints.
  • Oversee diary procedures to maintain accurate reserves and a 1:1 closing ratio.
  • Manage solicitors in litigated cases to uphold litigation standards.
  • Support the Head of Operations with office administration for smooth daily operations.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader.
  • Technical motor claims expertise.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment, inspire others, and develop talent.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
