You’ll be known internally as a Defence Claims Handler in our in-house law firm, Strata Solicitors. Your responsibilities include managing a caseload of claims efficiently and delivering exceptional client service. Once you’ve passed your probation period, typically 3 months, you’ll be able to work from home two days per week. Our offices are open between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Your work schedule will be 37.5 hours within these hours. To support your career progression, we’ll also contribute financially for you to gain your Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) or a professional legal qualification. How You\’ll Make An Impact Our clients may have experienced a car accident or theft, and they’ll contact you to help with their insurance claim. Your job is to collaborate with the ‘claimant’ and insurance companies to gather evidence, establish liability, and quantify the claim for swift settlement. Respond promptly and courteously to all written and phone inquiries Develop relationships with clients by providing friendly and efficient service Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on our claims system Adhere to all regulatory requirements About You You’re a fast learner and can make sound decisions quickly You can negotiate and influence both in writing and over the phone You’re confident in using the phone to get updates and resolve disputes You work well independently and as part of a team You have attention to detail and can focus effectively in a fast-paced environment You take pride and ownership of your work with a ‘can do’ attitude Compensation And Benefits Along with a competitive salary, great teams, and exciting career opportunities, we offer a wide range of benefits.
