Overview

We are looking for a Claims Handler to join our exciting team. The Claims Handler is responsible for efficiently managing claims from initiation to resolution while ensuring high levels of service delivery to Principals and stakeholders. This role involves appointing and coordinating with service providers, maintaining accurate case files, and supporting the department\’s operational efficiency. The Claims Handler will also contribute to marketing efforts and report on case-related matters to Directors or line managers.

How You\’ll Make An Impact

  • Appoint and coordinate with surveyors, lawyers, and other service providers on a worldwide basis to facilitate claims handling.
  • Handle claims effectively, providing regular updates and support to Principals throughout the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate and organised case files, ensuring efficient filing and retrieval processes.
  • Report to Directors and/or line managers on case-related matters and contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
  • Collaborate with team members and service providers to ensure timely and effective resolution of claims.
  • Support marketing efforts as necessary to promote the department’s services and capabilities.

About You

  • Proven experience in claims handling, preferably in insurance or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with Principals, service providers, and team members.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in case file management and reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and the ability to support promotional activities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
