The Opportunity
We're looking for two Production Welders to join our manufacturing team in Hastings. If you're looking for a role where you can enjoy consistent 5-day weeks, steady year-round work, and the security of a well-established business, this could be exactly what you're after. Working alongside an experienced workshop team, you'll weld, fabricate and assemble the livestock handling equipment Norton is known for across Australia. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your skills by working across a broad range of products, with ongoing training and support from the team. Quality workmanship, safety and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do, and you'll play an important role in ensuring every product leaves the workshop built to the high standards our customers expect.
The Fit
- Experience in a welding or fabrication role within a manufacturing environment
- MIG welding experience (TIG and ARC experience advantageous)
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
