Senior Manager, Governance & Compliance
Salary: From £49K to £62K per annum (depending on skills and experience). Grade: I. Hours: 35 per week. Contract type: Permanent. Vacancy reference: 26/45. Closing date: Midnight, Sunday 26 July.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Governance & Compliance to play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the University’s governance and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on governance, regulatory and compliance matters to senior leaders, academic governance structures and the Vice Chancellor’s Executive Team.
- Serve as the primary contact for data protection compliance.
- Represent Governance across cross-University initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Significant senior-level experience operating within a Governance function, preferably in higher education or a regulated environment.
- Experienced senior leader with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Working Conditions
- Flexible and hybrid working; required to work on campus at least 2 days per week.
