Availability to work predominantly Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work occasional weekends as required.

JOB LOCATION: The Rabbit, Templepatrick882 Antrim Road, Templepatrick, Ballyclare.

The Rabbit Restaurant offers a fresh, innovative, and seasonally led menu with a warm welcome, all brought together in a beautifully designed space.

The Rabbit Restaurant is a busy, fast-paced environment serving up to 50-100 + guests for lunch and 250+ for dinner service.

We are a popular spot with the locals and offer a fantastic outdoor garden area where guests can enjoy a bite, noon or night!

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, your main job will be to welcome and serve all our guests ensuring they enjoy their dining experience.

We encourage everyone to bring their own personality and passion to work every day.

All of our Food and Beverage Managers & Supervisors started as F&B Assistants at one time as we always offer the opportunity to progress.

You will be encouraged to improve and maximise your potential and we will support you along the way.

Main duties will include, but are not limited to

  • Welcomingallguests to the restaurantin a friendly, polite manner.
  • Serving food and beverage in a variety of settings and styles.
  • Following the daily order of events as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
  • Using the hoteltill systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly.
  • With training, have full and complete knowledge of all food/beverage and wine menus enabling you to helpwith any guest or customer queries.
  • Takefood and beverageorders, serve professionally and efficiently ensuring allguests have everything they need.
  • Cleaning and resetting tablesand ensuringall areas of therestaurant areneat and tidy.
  • Carrying outall otherdaily duties as required by themanagement team.
  • Directing any customer complaints to the Manager.
  • Ensuring that your knowledge of the Hoteland facilities is up to date in order to upsell to guests if the opportunity arises.
  • Making sure your personal appearance and uniform arein line with the required Hotelstandards at all times.
  • Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
  • Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.

Applicant Essential Criteria

  • Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service.

Have at least 1-year of previous waiting experience in a bar/ restaurant/ hotel.

  • Previous experience within other areas of the hospitality sector (desirable).
  • Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work morning, daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to multi-task.
  • Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation, hygiene, and the Galgorm Collectionbrand.
