Hours: Full Time, 5 days out of 7, (including day, evening and weekend shifts)

About the Role

Galgorm Resort is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Padel Activities Coordinator to oversee the daily operation and guest experience of our Padel facilities. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality facilities, driving court utilisation, and creating engaging activities and events for resort guests, members, and local players.

The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for all Padel-related activities, ensuring the courts are operated to the highest standards while promoting participation and growing the Galgorm Padel community.

You will be required to work on a shift/rota basis, including days, evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Reception

  • Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all guests, members and visitors using the Padel facilities.
  • Manage daily court check-ins and ensure all bookings are processed efficiently.
  • Provide information regarding coaching sessions, social events, leagues, tournaments and court availability.
  • Respond to guest enquiries, feedback and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging participation from players of all ages and abilities.

Court Management & Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Padel courts and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct daily facility inspections to ensure courts are clean, safe and presentation-ready.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and liaise with the relevant departments to ensure swift resolution.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned and stored correctly.
  • Monitor court usage and utilisation levels to maximise revenue opportunities.

Booking & Membership Administration

  • Manage the Playtomic booking platform, including:
  • Updating court pricing and rates
  • Managing promotions and offers
  • Monitoring booking activity
  • Supporting users with booking enquiries
  • Assist with membership enquiries and registrations.
  • Maintain accurate player, membership and event records.
  • Process payments and ensure financial transactions are handled accurately.

Activities, Events & Community Engagement

  • Organise and coordinate social events, leagues, competitions and corporate Padel experiences.
  • Support the delivery of coaching programmes and junior activities.
  • Assist in developing new initiatives to increase participation and engagement.
  • Help grow the Galgorm Padel Club social through member communication and event planning.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to promote activities through social media, digital channels and resort communications.

Facility Standards & Stock Management

  • Conduct regular stock takes of equipment and merchandise.
  • Monitor equipment condition and arrange replacements when required.
  • Ensure rental equipment is returned, cleaned and maintained to the required standard.
  • Assist in the merchandising and display of retail products.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of health and safety requirements relating to sports and leisure activities.
  • Report accidents, incidents and hazards promptly and accurately.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, leisure or sports environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Comfortable using booking and reservation software systems.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Padel.
  • Experience using Playtomic or similar booking platforms.
  • Previous experience organising sporting events, leagues or social activities.
  • Coaching qualifications or sports leadership experience.
  • Experience managing social media content and community engagement.
