Full Time and Part Time Opportunities Available!

HOURS: Typical shifts 3am-9am (times can be subject to change). Full-time position, 5 days out of 7.

LOCATION: Galgorm (Ballymena).

SALARY: £13.27 per hour with a payscale in place increasing to £14.27 per hour after 6 months.

About the role: The Resort is home to a vast number of bedrooms including suites, deluxe and superior rooms. As an Early Morning Cleaner, you will join a dedicated hard-working team working together to ensure all public areas of the Resort are clean and tidy and ready for our guests, including restaurants, bars, function rooms, the Thermal Village, reception, and front of house areas.

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating cleaning machines such as buffering machines, carpet cleaning machines, and steamers. (Full training provided)
  • Cleaning and servicing the Resort as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Manager.
  • Complete tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures plus a variety of other cleaning tasks.
  • Using disinfectants and steam-operated sterilizers.
  • Adhering to all safety and personal protective equipment, practices, and procedures.
  • Working within the guidelines of Health, Safety, Fire, and Hygiene operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.
  • Maintaining clear, efficient communication with the front-of-house team ensuring rooms and public areas are serviced in a timely fashion ready for our hotel guests.

We would love for you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. We welcome applications from people with general cleaning experience or transferrable skills. Must have excellent attention to detail. Work well under pressure and be an excellent team player. Must be able to take their own initiative and work independently. Previous hospitality experience (desirable). Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (desirable).
