As Food & Beverage Assistants, your main job will be to welcome and serve all our guests ensuring they enjoy their dining experience.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming all our restaurant guests and visitors in a friendly, polite manner.
- With training, have full and complete knowledge of all food/beverage and wine menus enabling you to help with any guest queries.
- Present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverage professionally and efficiently ensuring our guests have everything they need.
- Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the restaurant neat and tidy.
- Using the bar/restaurant till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly.
- Carrying out daily duties as required by the restaurant management team.
- Directing any guest complaints to the Restaurant Manager.
- Ensuring that your knowledge of the Resort and facilities is up to date in order to upsell to guests if the opportunity arises.
- Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Restaurant standards at all times.
- Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
- Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
The Person
Applicant must:
- Have at least 1-year of previous waiting experience.
- Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service.
- Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work morning, daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
- Have strong communication skills and be able to multi-task.
- Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
