Job Description: The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
- Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
- Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
- Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.
The Person: Applicants Criteria:
- Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
- Be an excellent team player.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.
Desirable: Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
