About the role;
We are seeking to recruit a new Night Manager to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to manage the night team and oversee all hotel operations ensuring the security of our guests overnight.

Job Description:
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Acting as the responsible person for the hotel during overnight hours dealing with all guest requests, handling any complaints and/or solving any problems that may arise.
- Being competent in front office operations along with food and beverage preparation as required during overnight hours including assisting in the bar area after the main bar has closed.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and guests, performing systematic and regular patrolling of the hotel grounds.
- Reporting any suspicious persons, activities, and hazardous conditions to hotel management.
- Managing the night's team ensuring there is adequate cover at all times
- Acting as Chief Fire Warden while on shift.
- Assisting in setting up function rooms/restaurant breakfast areas when needed.
- Assisting with housekeeping and performing some maintenance and cleaning duties throughout the night.
- Carrying out all other duties and procedures as per the nightly checklists.
- Being able to give a clear and concise handover at the end of a shift to the morning manager on duty, highlighting any events that have occurred overnight.
- Be fully conversant and compliant with Health and Safety, Fire, and Security policy and procedures.
- Making sure your personal appearance and uniform arein line with the required Hotelstandards at all times.
- Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
Applicant Criteria;
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Previous experience managing a team
- Must have a flexible approach and be available to work weekdays and weekends.
- Be a trustworthy individual.
- Be able to show initiative and leadership and possess excellent organisational skills.
- Display excellent customer service skills and have great attention to detail.
- Be a positive and enthusiastic team player.
Desirable;
- Previous bar experience
- Previous security experience
